Step 4
Add carrots, onion and salt and cook till softened and lightly browned, 5-7 minutes. Stir in garlic, coriander, ginger, and Chinese five spice and cook till fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Step 5
Stir in broth and chickpeas and bring to simmer.
Step 6
Remove skillet from heat and stir in peas and couscous. Cover and let sit until liquid is absorbed and couscous is tender, about 7 minutes.
Step 7
Add parsley and fluff with fork to combine. Season with salt and pepper and serve with a wedge of lemon.
