Add Bourbon, Mr. Black, and Fig Syrup along with the Aromatic bitters to a shaker.

Cut the fresh figs in half.

Bake the half of the fresh figs at 260F(127C) until they release juices and have become slightly wrinkled (about 30-40 mins).

At the same time bring the water and sugar to a boil and then remove from heat.

Steep the baked figs, fresh figs, and dried figs in the hot syrup for 3-4 hours and then blend.

Use a series of kitchen sieves from medium to fine to filter the syrup. If you want a clear syrup with no pulp, finish with a jelly bag.
