Gram's Prune Cake

Step 1

For cake:Cream first three ingredients together; blend well. In seperate bowl, combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add flour mixture and buttermilk to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in prunes. Spray glass pan with non-stick spray and pour mixture into pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes, or until cake is done.

Step 2

For glaze:Heat buttermilk and sugar in a saucepan until sugar melts. (Don't allow to boil.) Pour gradually over hot cake, allowing glaze to soak in before adding more. You could poke holes in the cake to help it along.
