Step 1
Combine mince, shallot, garlic, lemon zest, oregano and egg in a bowl. Mix well. Roll into walnut-sized balls
Step 2
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook meatballs, in batches, turning regularly, for 5 mins, or until brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towel.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 180C or 160C fan. Line tray with baking paper, heat pita 4-5 mins until lightly toasted.
Step 4
Serve meatballs with pita pockets, tzatziki, olives, antipasto and sun dried tomatoes.
