Prepare my easy homemade BBQ sauce ahead of time!
Step 2
Reserve ½ cup BBQ sauce for basting the chicken as it is grilling.
Step 3
Place 1 pound chicken breast in a ziplock or airtight container. Pour the remaining homemade BBQ sauce over top of the chicken. Seal or close the container and marinate for at least one hour.
Step 4
Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the marinated BBQ chicken in the center of the grill. Grill for 12 to 15 minutes.
Step 5
Baste the ½ cup of reserved BBQ sauce on the chicken as it is cooking.
Step 6
Flip the chicken over and finish grilling on the other side until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
