This grilled BBQ chicken is simple to make tender chicken coated in sweet barbecue flavor that comes through in every bite!  You will be making this weekly after you see what a huge hit it is!

Grilled BBQ Chicken

Prepare my easy homemade BBQ sauce ahead of time!

reserve

Reserve ½ cup BBQ sauce for basting the chicken as it is grilling.

marinate

Place 1 pound chicken breast in a ziplock or airtight container. Pour the remaining homemade BBQ sauce over top of the chicken. Seal or close the container and marinate for at least one hour.

grill

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the marinated BBQ chicken in the center of the grill. Grill for 12 to 15 minutes.

baste

Baste the ½ cup of reserved BBQ sauce on the chicken as it is cooking.

flip

Flip the chicken over and finish grilling on the other side until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
