Step 1

Cook macaroni according to the directions on the package. Drain.

Step 2

Dump the cooked macaroni into a large mixing bowl.

Step 3

Pour the apple cider vinegar over the macaroni.

Step 4

Add the grated carrot and onion to the bowl.

Step 5

Stir well.

Step 6

Leave the macaroni to cool, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.

Step 7

While the macaroni is cooling, prepare the dressing.

Step 8

Dump the mayo, milk, brown sugar, salt and pepper into a medium mixing bowl.

Step 9

Whisk well.

Step 10

Once the macaroni has cooled for 15 minutes, pour the dressing over the macaroni.

Step 11

Stir until all of macaroni is coated in dressing.

Step 12

Add the chopped green onions to the bowl and stir well again.

Step 13

Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 3 hours before serving.

Step 14

Stir the salad well one more time right before serving.

Step 15
