Homemade BBQ Spice Rub

brown sugar

Tablespoons salt

Tablespoons smoked paprika

Tablespoon black pepper

oregano

garlic powder

mustard powder

cayenne pepper ((See note 1))

Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix together well.&nbsp;Use immediately or store in an airtight jar or container and use when needed.

OMG. I made this and I think it’s fantastic. I’m about to make another batch as I’ve used it all up already   Everyone who has tried the meats I’ve used it on have all commented on how good it is.

Cooked 2 racks this weekend, 1 with this rub and one with a well known semi commercial rub (rib rocker). This was the unanimous winner so it went on a bbq pork shoulder for pulled pork - another hit.
