Export 5 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Separate the egg yolks from the whites
Step 2
Whisk the egg whites and sugar until frothy.
Step 3
Add in the milk, salt, butter and vanilla. Whisk until well combined.
Step 4
Stir in the flour and whisk until you get a smooth batter.
Step 5
Using tinfoil, roughly form a cone shape. This doesn’t have to be perfect or smooth, it’s just a guide for your cones.
Step 6
On medium heat, lightly grease a non-stick pan
Step 7
Spread about 2 tablespoons worth of batter on the pan and spread it thinly.
Step 8
Let it heat for about 5 minutes, you’ll want the cooked side to get brown.
Step 9
Flip and cook for another 3 - 5 minutes until both sides have color.
Step 10
Take it off the heat and while it’s still hot, wrap it around the foil cone to form a cone. Hold it in place until it sets (about 5 - 10 seconds)
Step 11
Set them aside to cool and continue with the rest of the batter.
Step 12
Once cooled they should get crisp. If they’re not hardening that just means it needs to cook longer before shaping.
Step 13
Enjoy!
