Step 1

Preheat oven to 300˚F. In a medium bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.

Step 2

In large bowl combine eggs, sugar, honey, and milk. Add flour mixture to wet ingredients and stir until combined. Pour into a 9”x5” loaf pan and bake for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 3

Allow to cool before removing from pan and slicing into 8 equal pieces. When ready to serve toast sliced cake pieces lightly in oven under the broiler and top each piece with a slice of butter.
