Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Use a knife to cut the soap base into small chunks.
Step 2
Place the cut soap into a heat-proof measuring bowl.
Step 3
Place the bowl in the microwave and melt the soap in 30-second intervals until it melts completely, about 2 1/2 minutes.
Step 4
Allow the soap base to cool slightly before adding the turmeric and essential oils.
Step 5
Add one teaspoon of ground turmeric powder to the bowl and mix with a silicon spatula.
Step 6
Add the essential oils and continue to mix until thoroughly combined.
Step 7
Place the soap molds on a flat surface and pour the soap base into the molds, filling each mold to the top.
Step 8
Continue to fill until the soap is gone.
Step 9
Allow the soap to cure for 4-8 hours. You may place the turmeric soap into the fridge to speed up the process.
Step 10
Do not be tempted to freeze the soap bars, as this may cause the soap to separate and not set correctly.
Step 11
Once the soap has set, you may remove it from the soap mold.
Step 12
Store the soap in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
