Step 1
1)Pour 2 Tablespoons of Oil into the Instant Pot, choose Sauté on High, once it says Hot add 1½ Cup of Jasmine Rice, sauté until the rice looks light golden, stir constantly (takes about 5-7 minutes) – sautéing helps the rice kernels keep it’s shape, without this step you end up with mushy rice. Hit Cancel to turn off Sauté mode, add the diced Onions, diced Jalapeño and stir for another minute.
Step 2
2)Add 2 Cups of Water, ½ Cup of Tomato Sauce, 1½ Teaspoons Knorr Tomato Bullion, ¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder and stir. Seal the Instant Pot lid and choose High Pressure for 4 minutes. When the timer is up, wait 10 minutes then switch the knob to venting, once the pin has dropped, open the lid and fluff the rice. Taste & season with a little bit of salt if needed. Enjoy!
