Place kosher salt in a shallow dish. Dip the rim of a 12-oz. cocktail glass in water and immediately dip in salt; set aside.
Step 2
Fill prepared glass with ice. Pour ginger beer and lime juice into glass; top with rum. Stir gently. Garnish with skewered lime slices, if desired.
