Put a healthier spin on brownies with these fudgy and delicious low calorie brownies!

Low Calorie Brownies

yogurt

skim milk

Cocoa powder

Old fashioned rolled oats (like Quaker)

baking powder

salt

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a square baking dish (I used 8&#8243;x8&#8243;).

Combine all ingredients into a food processor or a blender, and blend until smooth (about 1 minute).

Pour into the prepared dish and bake for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into 9 large squares. YAHM.

These were not good.  I am highly disappointed.  My entire family hated them and spat them out.

These absolutely need some more sweetener, but the consistency is pretty right on, so thanks for the recipe. I made one batch exactly as directed, tasted them, and threw them straight in the compost bin. I'm guessing everyone who is saying they are delicious are diet ladies who never eat anything sweet. I tried a second batch with some agave, chocolate chips and a little almond flour and those were much better. I'll gladly double my calories on a 50 cal brownie to have it taste a little bit sweet.

Well I ate one warm with halo top ice cream and I managed to get through it.  Everyone else in my family was a “no thanks”.  I’d probably eat them again myself but the yogurt gave them a sort of sour taste and there was a bit of diet aftertaste from the sweetener.  Mine came out to 45 calories each.  There are definitely I rely days when a mediocre brownie that’s super low in calories is a gamble worth taking.

Brownies weren't bad. I don't see the point of the egg and baking powder as the brownies don't expand. You can substitute an egg white for lower calories.

Also, half a cup of cocoa powder and oats, jesus, someone likes going to the bathroom.

I was pleasantly surprised at the texture and taste. I baked in a 6x8 pan so my brownies wouldn't be thin and put my 1/4 cup chips on top of brownies as soon as they came out of the oven. I spread melted chips with knife to give myself an iced brownie.

The batter was VERY liquid, recipe says 15 mins in the oven and they took closer to 45mins before a knife came out clean not sure what happened there maybe my yogurt was tooooo liquid, the taste was alright but texture wasnt really there.

Loved these! Instead of normal tangy greek yogurt I used Okios Triple Zero Vanilla and instead of Truvia baking blend I used 1/2 cup Erythritol. All the substitutions worked out great (the whole recipe is about 400 cal and 38 grams of protein)!!!
