Old fashioned rolled oats (like Quaker)

baking powder

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a square baking dish (I used 8&#8243;x8&#8243;).

Combine all ingredients into a food processor or a blender, and blend until smooth (about 1 minute).

Pour into the prepared dish and bake for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into 9 large squares. YAHM.

These were not good.  I am highly disappointed.  My entire family hated them and spat them out.

These absolutely need some more sweetener, but the consistency is pretty right on, so thanks for the recipe. I made one batch exactly as directed, tasted them, and threw them straight in the compost bin. I'm guessing everyone who is saying they are delicious are diet ladies who never eat anything sweet. I tried a second batch with some agave, chocolate chips and a little almond flour and those were much better. I'll gladly double my calories on a 50 cal brownie to have it taste a little bit sweet.

Well I ate one warm with halo top ice cream and I managed to get through it.  Everyone else in my family was a “no thanks”.  I’d probably eat them again myself but the yogurt gave them a sort of sour taste and there was a bit of diet aftertaste from the sweetener.  Mine came out to 45 calories each.  There are definitely I rely days when a mediocre brownie that’s super low in calories is a gamble worth taking.

Brownies weren't bad. I don't see the point of the egg and baking powder as the brownies don't expand. You can substitute an egg white for lower calories.

Also, half a cup of cocoa powder and oats, jesus, someone likes going to the bathroom.

I was pleasantly surprised at the texture and taste. I baked in a 6x8 pan so my brownies wouldn't be thin and put my 1/4 cup chips on top of brownies as soon as they came out of the oven. I spread melted chips with knife to give myself an iced brownie.

The batter was VERY liquid, recipe says 15 mins in the oven and they took closer to 45mins before a knife came out clean not sure what happened there maybe my yogurt was tooooo liquid, the taste was alright but texture wasnt really there.

Loved these! Instead of normal tangy greek yogurt I used Okios Triple Zero Vanilla and instead of Truvia baking blend I used 1/2 cup Erythritol. All the substitutions worked out great (the whole recipe is about 400 cal and 38 grams of protein)!!!

These are the BEST low calorie brownies! At just 46 calories a piece, these brownies have all the chocolaty and fudgy goodness of regular brownies without all the excess sugar and calories!

47 Calorie Brownies - The BEST low calorie brownies!

g plain or all-purpose flour*

33 g unsweetened cocoa powder

g sweetener*

½ tsp baking powder

g reduced fat yogurt

vanilla extract

ml unsweetened almond milk*

Pre-heat oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a medium bowl, whisk the egg until fluffy. Then whisk in the yogurt, milk and vanilla extract.

Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, stevia and baking powder until smooth and lump free.

Fold in the chocolate chips then pour the batter into a prepared 7.5 by 7.5 inch baking tin.

Bake for around 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool before slicing and enjoy!

Healthy Vegan Banana Brownies (Oil-Free)

oat flour

natural cocoa powder

baking soda (replace

cinnamon

fine sea salt

mashed overripe banana (about 2 large bananas) (Use bananas with a lot of dark spots)

maple syrup

coconut sugar (Can sub brown sugar)

brewed coffee or non-dairy milk

runny almond butter, unsalted (Or any nut/seed butter you like; will alter flavor)

walnuts

Prep

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177C) and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl whisk together the oat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

Place the bananas in a small bowl, and mash with a fork. It&#39;s fine to have a few larger pieces remaining. Measure to make sure you have 1 cup of mashed banana. Add the maple syrup, coconut sugar, vanilla, and almond butter, and stir vigorously until combined.

Combine

Pour the wet mixture into the dry, and stir to combine. Fold in the walnuts.

Bake

Transfer batter to the prepared pan, and bake for 28 to 31 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool

Let brownies rest in the pan for 30 minutes, then lift out by parchment paper. Allow to cool completely before cutting into 16 squares.

Oil-Free Vegan Banana Brownies

These Oreo Cheesecake Brownies are only 90 calories per brownie and are super rich and fudgy! They are oil/butter free, low sugar and can be made gluten free.

90 Calorie Oreo Cheesecake Brownies

granulated zero calorie sweetener

150 g high protein yogurt (plain/vanilla)

60 ml plant milk (1/4 cup)

g cocoa powder (1/4 cup)

70 g all purpose flour

tsp vanilla extract

tsp baking powder

tsp baking soda

oreos (crushed)

g sugar free milk chocolate (chopped)

g light cream cheese

g high protein yogurt (plain/vanilla)

flour

g sweetener

mix room temperature light cream cheese, flour, vanilla and sweetener until well combined

add the yogurt and mix again and set aside

Cheesecake swirl

Whisk the egg and granulated sweetener until doubled in size- can use a hand whisk or stand mixer etc (takes about 5 minutes)

Microwave the yogurt and almond milk for 30 seconds, add the vanilla and cocoa powder and mix well, let sit for a couple of minutes- this is not essential however it helps to bloom the cocoa powder which helps to intensify the chocolate flavor by releasing flavor that is trapped in the solid particles. 

Add the yogurt cocoa powder mix to the whipped egg and whisk

Sift in the flour, baking powder and baking soda, salt, crushed oreos and chopped chocolate and fold into the batter

Once well combined, add the batter to a lined brownie pan

Dollop the cream cheese batter on top and use the end of the spoon or a chopstick to swirl the batter around 

Bake at 180c or 350F for 20 minutes

Let the brownies cool down in the pan before cutting into 12 slices
