Paula Deen's Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

Step 1

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine one egg, cake mix, and 8 tablespoons of butter.

Step 3

Pat this mixture into the bottom of your greased baking dish.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth.

Step 5

Add in the remaining two eggs, vanilla, and butter.

Step 6

Mix in the powdered sugar.

Step 7

Spread this mixture on top of the crust mixture.

Step 8

Bake for 40-50 minutes
