Step 1

In a pot, melt the butter/margarine with water.

Step 2

Bring to boil, then reduce the heat.

Step 3

Start adding the flour, gradually, 1 tbsp at a time, stirring all the time.

Step 4

Cool down.

Step 5

When the mixture is cold, mix it with eggs until you get the smooth dough with no lumps.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to 392°F (200°C).

Step 7

Line 2 baking sheets (14''x17'') with parchment paper.

Step 8

Using a spoon, spread the dough onto the parchment paper. It doesn't have to be smooth. Make it look like a rugged mountain.

Step 9

Bake for about 30 minutes, one baking pan at a time.

Step 10

Pour 2 cups of milk into the pot.

Step 11

Add egg yolks, sugar, and whip it together until you will get a smooth, yellow color.

Step 12

Pour 1 cup of milk into the small bowl.

Step 13

Add flour, potato flour, and vanilla extract. Mix until dissolved.

Step 14

Place a pot on the stove, cook slowly, stirring all the time.

Step 15

When it nearly boils, add milk with flour and stir until you will get the consistency of pudding.

Step 16

Cool down.

Step 17

When the pudding is cold, blend it with butter until you get the smooth and creamy custard.

Step 18

Spread the creamy custard on top of one of the pastry.

Step 19

Cover it with the second pastry.

Step 20

Sprinkle with powdered sugar or chocolate glaze.

Step 21

In a pot, melt all the ingredients, except for the egg.

Step 22

In a separate bowl, beat the egg using a fork.

Step 23

When the chocolate glaze is almost boiling, pour the egg, mixing all the time.

Step 24

Turn off the heat.

Step 25

Pour the chocolate glaze over the cake.
