Step 1
Finely chop Onions and Carrots.
Step 2
In a saucepan, brown Onions and Carrots in Olive oil.
Step 3
Add the Rice and fry for a few moments while stirring. The rice should become translucent.
Step 4
Add cold water and Chicken stock. Cover and wait for boiling. When the water boils, cook for 10 minutes.
Step 5
After 10 minutes, the rice should be almost cooked. Remove the pan from the heat and let stand covered for another 10 minutes.
Step 6
This side dish is ideal with all kinds of dishes, especially grilled meats and fish.
