Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil. Spray the foil with non-stick cooking spray.

Place the crackers on the foil in a single layer and set aside.

In a medium sauce pan, heat butter and sugar over medium heat.

Allow the butter to melt, stirring constantly with a whisk. Bring the mixture to a boil for 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the butter mixture over the crackers and spread it out evenly. Bake for 5 minutes then remove from the oven.
Step 6
Let the crackers cool for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Once the crackers have cooled, melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds.
Step 8
Pour the chocolate over the crackers and use a spatula to spread it out evenly. Top with sprinkles.
Step 9
Chill the cracker mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until hardened. Use a sharp knife to cut the saltine toffee into smaller pieces.
