Export 6 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
Step 2
In a stand mixer or hand held mixer cream together the butter and powdered sugar. Add in the cornstarch and vanilla, creaming together.
Step 3
Sift the salt and flour together and add to the batter. Scoop dough out into balls and place on the cookie sheet, then flatten the balls out with the underside of a cup dipped in powdered sugar.
Step 4
Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire cookie rack.
Step 5
To make the icing, whisk together the powdered sugar, extract and milk. This should make a medium to thin glaze, adding more milk if you need to thin it out.
Step 6
Place a small spoonful of icing in the middle of the cookie and add sprinkles. Allow glaze to harden.
