Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400° F. Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Step 2

Cook the Meat: In a large nonstick skillet, heat one tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef (or lamb) and minced garlic. Cook until the meat has browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to season the beef as it cooks with the garlic powder, dried oregano, and salt & pepper to taste. Remove from the heat and drain the extra fat.

Step 3

Bake the Nachos: Spread out the pita chips in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Top with the ground beef (or lamb), making sure it is evenly spread out. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese and then the feta. Place into the oven and bake until heated through and the cheeses have melted, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

Add the Toppings: Top with the diced tomatoes, sliced red onion, and Kalamata olives. Evenly dollop the Tzatziki sauce in various locations. Garnish with fresh herbs. Serve immediately.
