If you are cooking in the can remove label and put a towel underneath the cans to prevent rust stains.

Step 2

If using jars, pour condensed milk into the jar(s) and tightly close.

Step 3

Cover with water.

Step 4

Cover and cook on low in slow cooker for 8 hours or until caramel is the darkness preferred.

Step 5

After cooling, refrigerate up to two weeks.
