Step 1

Put vanilla sweet cream in a jar with lid in the freezer for a few minutes while you make drink.

Step 2

Add caramel syrup to bottom of 16 ounce cup.

Step 3

Pour cold brew coffee on top of caramel syrup. I prefer to use store-bought Starbucks unsweetened cold brew coffee. You can also make homemade cold brew ahead of time. If you use cold brew concentrate, be sure to add water to it to make it regular strength.

Step 4

Scoop enough ice into glass to almost fill it to the top, about 1 cup.

Step 5

Remove jar of vanilla sweet cream from freezer and shake vigorously for a minute or two until it thickens. It will resemble runny whipped cream. You can also froth it or aerate it using a french press. I prefer the cold jar method since it's quick and easy.

Step 6

Slowly pour sweet cream on top of caramel cold brew and sprinkle with salt.

Step 7

Stir and enjoy. This creamy cold brew drink is best served without a straw.

Step 8

Here's my complete recipe for vanilla sweet cream cold foam. It's the exact ingredients and proportions Starbucks uses.

Step 9

Just combine heavy cream, milk and vanilla syrup to make a bottle of this sweet creamer. Then turn only the amount you need for a drink into cold foam.
