Step 1

In a large pot of salted, boiling water, cook the bow tie pasta to al dente, according to the package directions.

Step 2

Drain the water and pour the cooked bow tie pasta into a large bowl.

Step 3

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, the taco seasoning, the salt, and the pepper and cook, while crumbling, until it is no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain the excess grease.

Step 4

In a small bowl, add the olive oil, the lime juice, the cumin, the salt, and the pepper and whisk to combine.

Step 5

Evenly pour the olive oil mixture over the cooked bow tie pasta and toss to combine.

Step 6

Add the cooked ground beef, the corn, the black beans, and the tomatoes to the bow tie pasta mixture and toss to combine.

Step 7

Fold the cheddar and the green onions into the pasta salad.
