Step 1

In the large bowl, mix farm cheese, egg, white rice flour, powdered sugar (sifted), salt, and vanilla bean paste.

Step 2

You will need ¼ cup ice cream scoop with a squeeze-release handle. Simply scoop some dough and place it on the table (or cutting board), previously sprinkled with some rice flour.

Step 3

Cover a piece of dough with the glass or teacup and circle a few times. Then flip that patty and circle again.

Step 4

Repeat with the rest of the dough.

Step 5

Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add 1-2 tbsp oil or butter.

Step 6

Once the skillet and oil are hot, place the patties directly into the skillet. Saute until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Do not crowd the syrniki, cook them in 3-4 batches if necessary.

Step 7

Transfer to a plate and serve with fresh berries. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
