Step 1

Spin a cucumber ribbon or two in a double old fashioned glass.

Step 2

Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.

Step 3

Strain the ice out and shake again, this time with no ice. (This is a technique known as a reverse dry shake.)

Step 4

Strain into the glass you’ve prepared, add a large ice cube and a sprig of mint.
