Step 1

Add the sugar and 1/2 cup water to a small saucepan. Stir and bring to a simmer over medium heat until the sugar is melted, then turn off the heat and let cool.

Step 2

Add the watermelon, lime zest and juice and 3 tablespoons of the cooled simple syrup to a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into 4 small glasses.

Step 3

Garnish each with a wheel of lime.
