Step 1
Heat oil in a skillet.
Step 2
Add roughly diced garlic into it and saute on low flame for about a minute.
Step 3
Now add spinach greens and season with salt.
Step 4
If you have a little larger quantity os spinach to add, then do that in batches.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Spinach will start to shrink releasing some water.
Step 7
Keep the flame on medium to high and sauté for 2 - 3 minutes till all water evaporates.
Step 8
Once all liquid evaporates turn off the heat.
Step 9
Wilted spinach is ready to serve as a side dish.
Step 10
Optional- Add a dash of fresh lemon juice
