Air Fryer Fried Pickles

c. dill pickle slices

egg, whisked with 1 tbsp. water

bread crumbs

c. Parmesan

oregano

garlic powder

Made these today but changed a bit to make gluten free recipe. Mixed GF Panko and cornmeal, about 1 to 1 ratio, and left out Parmesan. Add cornstarch to the egg mixture to make crumbs adhere better.

Went great with our burgers!

Used panko, but everything else according to the recipe. They were just eh. I’ll continue to try other recipes.

Tried them tonight. They were pretty good, especially since they were air fried. We will make them again.

Loveeeeeee this recipe!!! It’s so simple and tastes so good!!!!

The breading flavor is super plain. Needs more flavor. And you just need to do  400° for 8 minutes, flip halfway through if you want to crips both sides equally but it’s not necessary!

I usually do egg flour egg bread crum but this works well also

These Air Fryer Fried Pickles Make The Best Healthy Snack

Homemade fried pickles in the air fryer are perfect as a healthy snack or appetizer.

Air Fryer Pickles

pickle chips

egg ({beaten})

panko

tbsp all-purpose flour

tbsp cornmeal

tsp baking powder

tsp Tony's Chachere's ({low sodium}{or other "Cajun" seasoning})

tsp dill ({dried})

olive oil

Drain the pickle chips and blot well with a clean kitchen cloth or paper towel.

In one bowl combine cornmeal, panko, Tony&#x27;s, dill, and breadcrumbs, a beaten egg in another, and flour mixed with baking powder in another. Set up an empty plate.

It&#x27;s easiest to work in batches of 2-3. With your left hand, dredge three pickles through the flour and shake the excess off. 

With your left hand, drop them into the egg mixture, stirring to coat.

Use your right hand and drop them into the breadcrumb bowl. Place your breaded pickles onto a plate.

Once you&#39;ve finished breading all of them, spray the pickles with olive oil spray while they&#39;re still on the plate. Really coat them well and then let them sit 2-3 minutes.

Brush the basket of the air fryer with olive oil or use a piece of air fryer parchment, and gently place the pickles in the basket. Don&#39;t overcrowd.
