Perfectly tender air fryer apples with maple cinnamon glaze. These are delicious as a side dish, dessert, or added to breakfast. This is an easy recipe that is ready in less than 30 minutes

Air Fryer Apples

large, sweet apples

avocado oil

cinnamon

maple syrup

coconut sugar

pure vanilla extract

Prepare the apples by peeling them, coring them, and slicing into 1/2&quot; thick slices.

Place sliced apples in a medium-sized mixing bowl and add avocado oil and cinnamon. Mix until cinnamon and oil are evenly distributed between apples.

Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees F. Once preheated, place apples in the air fryer basket in a single layer. It&#39;s okay if apples are slightly overlapping.

Air fry for roughly 12 minutes, or until apple slices are golden brown and can easily be pierced with a fork. Check apples after 10 minutes. Cooking time will vary depending on the size of your apple slices and your air fryer.

While the apples are cooking, whisk together the maple syrup, coconut sugar, and vanilla to create the glaze. Set aside until apples are done.

Place cooked apples in a small bowl. Drizzle with the maple glaze and stir until apples are coated. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.

Serve and enjoy!

Warm cinnamon and maple-glazed air fryer apples are the perfect healthy dessert that everyone will love! They are vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free.

Tbsp real maple syrup (divided)

Tbsp melted coconut oil

Preheat your air fryer to 380°F and lightly spray with non-stick spray.

Add the peeled apple cubes into a bowl and toss with 1 Tablespoon maple syrup, coconut oil, and cinnamon.

Add apple cubes to the heated air fryer basket. Make sure they don’t overlap too much, or else they will not cook properly.

Air fry for 10 - 14 minutes, shaking halfway through. They should be golden, slightly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. 

Remove from the air fryer and toss the warm apples in 1 Tablespoon of maple syrup. 

Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream, oatmeal, or on its own!

Instead of the air fryer I used a cast iron skillet!  It was the bomb and I used a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Delicious !  Thanks for this quick desert recipe.
