Jiffy Cornbread in the Air Fryer

JIFFY Corn Muffin Mix

butter

sour cream

sugar (if you like a sweeter cornbread)

eggs (beaten)

corn kernels

Grease an 8 inch round cake pan and set aside.

Mix together the butter, sour cream and add sugar.

Add in the eggs, beating in completely.

Stir in the box of Jiffy mix. Mix now until the ingredients are completely incorporated.

Spread the mixture out in the pan in an even layer.

If needed, preheat your air fryer to 320 °F.  Bake for 17-20 minutes until golden brown and baked through. You MUST check the very middle with a toothpick and see if it comes out clean! The middle is where it cooks last!

Remove and slice and serve.

beef

green bell pepper (diced)

onion

garlic powder

salt

pepper

brown sugar

ketchup

yellow mustard

water

Sauté the meat, onion, and peppers. Add the spices.

Once browned, add the mustard, brown sugar, and ketchup. Cook for 5 minutes.

Place sloppy joe mixture into an 8” pie pan.

Use the remaining ingredients to mix up the cornbread batter.

Pour batter over the hoppy joe mixture and cook at 350° for 15 minutes or until cornbread is cooked through.

Let cool and slice to serve.

Air fryer cornbread is super soft, perfectly moist, and uses just 3 ingredients. It tastes even better than baking in the oven!

Easy Air Fryer Cornbread

8.5 oz package Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix

milk (or buttermilk)

Preheat the air fryer to 320 degrees F. Then, spray an air fryer baking pan with cooking spray and set it aside.

In a large mixing bowl, add the cornbread mix, egg, and milk. Mix it until the ingredients are well combined.

Pour the batter into the baking pan, place the pan in the air fryer, then air fry for about 12 minutes.

Open the air fryer and cover the pan with aluminum foil. Continue air frying for another 4-5 minutes until the cornbread is cooked all the way through. It will cook a total time of about 16 to 17 minutes.
