Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees for about 4 minutes.

Air Fryer Pot Stickers (Frozen Dumplings + Gyoza + Wontons)

ginger

sesame seeds

Mist

Mist the air fryer tray or basket with cooking oil spray. Put the frozen potstickers on the prepared tray in a single non-touching layer.

Spray

Generously spray the potstickers with cooking spray. Spray the edges of the dumplings really well so they don&#039;t get too hard in the air fryer.

Put the tray of dumplings in the top rack position of the air fryer (if using an air fryer oven).

Air fry

Air fry the dumplings for 5 minutes at 400°F (200°C). Take them out, flip them over, and spray them well with more cooking spray.

Air frying

Put the tray back in the air fryer (top rack again) and air fry for 4 minutes more at 400°F (200°C).

Flip

My dumplings with wheat flour wrappers were done at this point. If your potstickers are not cooked to your liking. flip them one last time and spray with cooking spray. Air fry for 2-3 more minutes at 400°F (200°C). (Note: If you&#039;re making potstickers with meat or poultry filling, I would use a meat thermometer to ensure the minimum safe internal temperature of 165°F/74°C has been reached.)

Sauce

While the dumplings air fry, you can make the dipping sauce. Put the rice vinegar, soy sauce. ginger, and sesame oil in a small canning jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake it up. (If you&#039;re using the sauce from the box of dumplings, it often only needs thawing.)

Serve

Serve the dumplings with the dipping sauce. Garnish with thinly sliced scallions and sesame seeds.

Cook Frozen Dumplings in your Air Fryer and have a delicious snack or meal on the table in just 10 minutes. With a tiny bit of oil these dumplings come out perfectly cooked and slightly crispy on the edges - ready to dip in your favorite sauce.

Preheat the air fryer by running it at 350°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.

Bring out the air fryer basket and brush with a small amount of oil. Then spread out the dumplings in a single layer.

Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 6 minutes, flipping the dumplings halfway.

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces!

You can use this air fryer dumpling technique for Japanese gyoza, Korean mandu, or any Chinese dumpling—either homemade or storebought, fresh or frozen.

Place the dumplings in your air fryer basket. Space them apart so there’s about 1/4 to ½-inch (1 cm) of room or so between them.

Brush or spray the dumplings on all sides with a thin coat of oil. You can also just oil your hands and rub the oil all over the outside of the dumplings.

You can also use your favorite oil spray. We don’t have an oil spray, so we like to use a natural bristle pastry brush for this, as it allows for a much thinner coat than with silicone brushes.

Use your fingers to sprinkle the dumplings with ¼ cup water using a flicking motion. For any last bits that you can’t splash on, just pour into the base of the air fryer basket.

Air-fry at 400°F/200°C for 10-12 minutes if using fresh dumplings, or 12-14 minutes for frozen (depending on size and number of dumplings). For a smaller number of dumplings (e.g., for one person), air-fry them for the shorter end of the time range. Because the air fryer basket is not as full, they will cook faster. There’s no need to preheat the air fryer; just let it go.

Often, my frozen dumplings get a coating of frost after being in the freezer for awhile. Should I melt that off before cooking them?

The absolute best way to make dumplings! Sure beats pan frying or (heaven forbid) using a microwave. I used 'Korean-style mini-wontons' that had been abandoned in the freezer because of the poor results I had frying them. Using this technique, they came out crunchy on top and tender on bottom. Do check them after 10 minutes, though. Now I'll be making these often as they are a great side for lots of meals. No more abandoned dumplings. Thanks once again, Kaitlin and family.
