This Indian tandoori mushroom tikka makes for an easy &amp; delicious appetizer or a side. It can be made on stovetop, oven or in air fryer.

Tandoori mushroom tikka

mushrooms ((I use button mushrooms))

onion (diced (75 grams) (layers separated))

bell peppers (diced (150 grams))

greek yogurt ((thick curd/ strained yogurt))

salt ((adjust

ginger garlic paste ((I used ½ teaspoon each, powder))

turmeric

½ teaspoon garam masala

coriander powder

cumin powder

chaat masala

kasuri methi ((crushed))

black pepper (crushed (powder))

lemon

tbsps butter

To a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients mentioned under marinade except lemon juice. Mix well.

Taste test and add more salt and lemon juice. If the marinade tastes sour, skip lemon juice.

Add the mushrooms, bell peppers and onions. Mix well.

If using wooden skewers, rinse them under running water.

Prepare marinade

Preheat air fryer or oven to 200 C or 400 F for atleast 15 mins. If using stovetop, heat a non-stick griddle with 1 tablespoon oil.

Thread the veggies on to skewers - onion, bell pepper &amp; mushrooms.

Place the skewers on a prepared baking tray. Place them in the oven or air fryer or on a griddle.

Oven - Grill them for 10 mins &amp; then brush the skewers lightly with some marinade. Turn the skewers to the other side and brush if needed. Grill them again for 6 to 7 mins depending on the size of the mushrooms.

Air fryer - Air fry for 8 mins, then brush them with little marinade. Turn the skewers to the other side and repeat brushing lightly. Air fry again for 5 mins. Adjust the timings based on the size of mushrooms.

Stove top - Place the skewers and keep turning them to all the sides and cook on a high heat.  Some of the marinade comes to the griddle, you can use a wooden spatula to bring it together. When the veggies wilt, place a wired rack on the stovetop and place the mushroom skewers over direct flame and grill until done.

To char the tandoori mushrooms, brush some butter or mustard oil and place the skewers back in the oven. Broil or air fry for another 2 mins.

When done perfectly, grilled mushroom tikka &amp; onions will begin to smell so good. Brush with more butter or oil if needed and serve immediately.

Garlic Butter Air Fryer Mushrooms

mushrooms (cleaned (and halved if large))

olive oil

soy sauce

pepper (to taste)

garlic butter (melted)

parsley (finely chopped)

Preheat air fryer to 400°F.

Toss mushrooms with olive oil and soy sauce, season with pepper.

Place mushrooms in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket after 4 minutes.

Remove from the air fryer and place in a small bowl. Toss with garlic butter and parsley.

Serve warm.

Air fryer Mushrooms | Vegan Oyster Mushroom Air fried

gm. mushroom (about 10-12 mushroom use Oyster, shiitake

buttermilk (or vegan buttermilk (recipe shared in the notes))

Italian seasoning (or dried parsley, oregano, basil, thyme)

garlic powder

onion powder

tbsp. all-purpose flour corn

tbsp. rice flour

Clean mushroom and dry them well. Now prepare a slurry of buttermilk or vegan buttermilk with rice flour and ½ tsp. salt. Marinate mushroom in the slurry for about 30 minutes.

Now take all the spices and add to all-purpose flour and keep it ready.

Pre-heat Airfryer at 180 C or 350 F for 8 minutes.

After marination, take out each marinated mushroom and immerse it in the seasoned flour mix till well coated. Lightly brush with oil. Do this to all the mushroom and keep aside.

Brush the air fryer basket and arrange the mushroom in one row. Air fry for 15 minutes at 180 C or 350 F. Turn once in the middle. Now turn up the temperature to 200 C or 390 F and Air fry for 4 minutes for a golden colour.

Take it out and serve out. Your crispy Air fryer mushrooms are ready to serve. Have with dipping sauce, mayo or even ketchup. It’s super delicious.

This portobello mushroom is rich with umami. With its meaty texture, you can eat it many different ways: as a burger, in a wrap, or on a salad. And once marinated, it cooks in less than 10 minutes!

Air Fryer Portobello Mushroom with Basil Pesto-Mayo

balsamic vinegar

lemon juice

Dijon mustard

Kosher salt

portobello mushroom caps (stems removed)

basil pesto

Tbsp. mayo (we used Just Mayo)

Prepare marinade in a small bowl by whisking together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, and salt.

Remove stems from mushroom caps and wipe clean with a damp paper towel. Place mushrooms in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour in marinade, seal bag, and toss to coat thoroughly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning halfway through for even coverage.

Coat fryer with some oil to prevent sticking. Add portobellos to air fryer basket and cook at 370 degrees for 7 minutes.

Meanwhile... prepare your toppings of choice. Combine pesto and mayo, sauté some spinach, slice some tomatoes and red onions.

Once cook time is complete, remove mushrooms and allow to rest on separate plate for a few minutes. (They will give off quite a bit of liquid, so don&#039;t place it on a bun too quickly or your buns will go soggy.)

Flavored with sesame oil and soy sauce, these air fryer mushrooms deliver big flavors with very little effort! An easy low carb side dish.

Prepare mushrooms- Wash and pat dry the mushrooms. Trim off the end of the stem, then cut into quarters. Toss in sesame oil and soy sauce. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes if you have the time.

Cook- Heat your air fryer to 400°F/200°F. Add mushrooms to the basket, then cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket several times. Cook until deeply browned and roasted through (as in image below).

Garnish + enjoy- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with green onion (optional). Enjoy!
