An easy way to make onions that taste sauteed in the Air Fryer.

Toss together all ingredients until onions are well coated with oil, salt, and pepper.

Place prepared onions in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 min at 380°F, tossing every 5 minutes. I like my onions to still have a little crunch - if you want yours more well done, after the first 15 minutes of cooking at 380°F, lower the temperature to 340°F and cook in 5 minutes intervals until they are to your desired doneness/softness.

Air Fryer onions are perfectly caramelized, golden brown in color, tender, full of flavor, with crispy edges. They are delicious to top on burgers, sandwiches and salads, great as a side dish or add to veggies to make fajitas.

TBS Avocado oil (or Extra virgin olive oil)

Slice onions thin or whichever way you like to slice onions.

Preheat air fryer to 375F/190C for 3 minutes

In a large bowl add sliced onions, oil, seasoning, salt and pepper, if desired.

Mix them well to ensure an even coating with oil and seasoning.

Pour onions into your air fryer basket/tray. It is better to cook them directly on the tray/basket, however, you can line the tray with parchment paper or air fryer parchment paper.

Spread the onions in the basket evenly in a single layer so they don&#39;t overlap

Airfry mode at 375F/190C for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway or until the desired caramelized look.

Delicious air fried onions are ready in minutes!

Preheat the Air Fryer to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C.

Remove the skins and slice onions into evenly thick slices.

Place the sliced onions in an air fryer basket and brush with balsamic vinegar.

Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown to your taste. Carefully flip the onions halfway through cooking.
