All-Purpose Seasoning Blend

salt

paprika

black pepper

garlic powder

onion powder

coriander

dill

red pepper flakes

Combine 2 tablespoons kosher salt, 2 tablespoons paprika, 1 tablespoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic, 1 tablespoon dried minced onion, 2 teaspoons ground coriander, 2 teaspoons dried dill, and 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes in a jar and shake to combine. 

Crispy on the outside and stuffed with a tasty mix of ground chicken and slaw that&rsquo;s been seasoned with McCormick&reg; All Purpose Himalayan Pink Salt with Black Pepper &amp; Garlic Seasoning and a touch of Ground Ginger, these homemade air fryer egg rolls are the real deal.

Air Fryer Chicken Egg Rolls

tbsp oil

chicken

(14 to 16 ounces) coleslaw mix

onions

tbsps less sodium soy sauce

tsps all purpose seasoning black pepper garlic pink sea salt

tsps ginger ground

egg roll wrappers

sweet red chili sauce

step 1

Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add ground chicken; cook and stir 3 minutes or until no longer pink. Add coleslaw mix and green onions; cook and stir 3 minutes or until cabbage is wilted. Add soy sauce, Seasoning and ginger; cook and stir 2 minutes. Place mixture in colander or strainer, pressing to drain excess liquid from mixture.

Place eggroll wrappers on work surface with points facing up and down, like a diamond. Place 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture in center of egg roll wrapper. Brush top edge of the wrapper with water. Fold bottom edge of wrapper over filling, then fold in both sides of wrapper. Roll tightly from bottom to top, pressing top edge down to seal egg roll.  Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Spray air fryer basket with no stick cooking spray. Preheat air fryer on 400°F for 3 minutes.  Place egg rolls in single layer in basket; do not overcrowd. Spray egg rolls with no stick cooking spray. Air fry 5 minutes. Turn egg rolls and spray with no stick cooking spray. Fry 5 minutes longer or until egg rolls are lightly browned and heated through. Repeat with remaining egg rolls. Serve egg rolls with Sweet Red Chili Sauce for dipping.

Combine all the ingredients – garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, thyme, oregano, celery seeds, and salt in a bowl or jar. Stir or shake the jar until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Store it in any sealed container (or zip lock bag) and use it as needed. It is excellent for all types of meat and seafood.

Arabic Baharat spice is a classic and versatile Middle Eastern spice blend that delivers sweet, smoky, and earthy warmth to every bite.

Toast the cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, cumin and coriander seeds in a sauté pan. Remove from the heat and add to a spice or coffee grinder to create a powder. Set aside and allow to cool.

In a small bowl, add the sumac, paprika, allspice, cardamom, clove, and nutmeg. Whisk in the ground, toasted spices and transfer to a glass container with a tight fitting lid.

Store in your spice cabinet and it will last about 3 months, after that the potency diminishes. Makes about 3/4 cup.
