Here are 12 different ways to make deviled eggs. Below is my "classic" method. The rest are all variations! (Nutrition facts are based on the Classic recipe)

How to Make Perfect Deviled Eggs + 12 Flavors to Try  (Paleo Approved!)

dill pickle juice, lemon juice, or vinegar

salt and pepper,

Slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. Place all yolks in a medium-sized bowl. Add 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise, mustard, 1 tsp. pickle juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper to the egg yolks. Mash with a fork (or beat with a hand mixer) until completely smooth, adding additional mayo or pickle juice as needed to get the consistency creamy. (Alternatively, you can combine the yolk mixture ingredients in a zip-top bag and mash with your hands.)

Scoop deviled yolk mixture back into the egg white halves using a spoon. Alternatively, you can scoop the mixture into a plastic sandwich bag and snip off the corner to create a &#8220;piping bag.&#8221;

I did the dill pickle one but added a twist by pickling the eggs first. Simple as can be. Just put peeled hard boiled eggs in with your dill pickles jar for a few days. They turn soft green which adds to the taste and presentation.

These keto avocado deviled eggs are light and delicious, incredibly smooth and rich with a zing of lime and jalapeño to keep things light.

Keto Avocado Deviled Eggs

Large Eggs ((Note 1))

Avocados (pitted, (Note 2))

Lime

Cloves Garlic (minced)

Jalapeno (deseeded and minced, (Note 3))

Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Teaspoon Kosher Salt

Cup Fresh Cilantro (finely chopped)

Hard boil the eggs. Cover eggs (12) with 1 ½” of water in a large saucepan. Bring water to a boil, then remove pan from heat and cover it with a lid. Set aside, and allow the eggs to cook like this for 18 minutes. While cooking, prepare a large bowl with ice and cold water. Remove eggs from the saucepan into the bowl of ice water with tongs. Once cool enough to handle (a few minutes) peel the eggs.

Making Avocado deviled eggs. Cover eggs (12) with 1 ½” of water in a large saucepan. Bring water to a boil, then remove pan from heat and cover it with a lid. Avocado deviled eggs - Step 1

Make the filling. Cut each egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them inside a food processor (Note 4). Add avocados (2), lime juice (3 tablespoons), minced garlic (2 cloves), minced jalapeno (1/2 deseeded), cayenne pepper (1/2 teaspoon), and salt (1 teaspoon) and process until creamy smooth. Be sure to pause the processor occasionally to clean off the sides to ensure everything incorporates. Add cilantro (1/4 cup),  and pulse a few times. Taste the filling and adjust to your liking (Note 3).

Make Avocado deviled eggs filling. Cut each egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them inside a food processor (Note 4). Add avocados (2), lime juice (3 tablespoons), minced garlic (2 cloves), minced jalapeno (1/2 deseeded), cayenne pepper (1/2 teaspoon), and salt (1 teaspoon) and process until creamy smooth. Be sure to pause the processor occasionally to clean off the sides to ensure everything incorporates. Add cilantro (1/4 cup),  and pulse a few times. Taste the filling and adjust to your liking (Note 3).

Fill the eggs. Use a spoon, baggie (with a small hole in the tip, see video), or a piping bag to add filling to the center of each egg white. Sprinkle the top of your eggs with additional cilantro and cayenne pepper. Serve immediately (Note 5) and enjoy!

Avocado deviled eggs - Step 3

Avocado deviled eggs are a combination of hard boiled eggs, avocado, red onion, cilantro and lime juice. Watch the video above to see how quickly they come together!

Avocado Deviled Eggs

avocado

lime (juiced)

tbsp red onion (finely chopped)

tbsp cilantro (finely chopped)

garlic powder

salt and pepper (to taste)

Cut the hard boiled eggs in half and scoop out the yellow egg yoke to a mixing bowl. Place the hard boiled egg white halves on a serving platter.

To the mixing bowl of egg yolks, add the avocado, lime juice, red onion, cilantro, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Use a fork and mash all of the ingredients together until nice and creamy.

Scoop the mixture with a spoon and dollop it back into the egg white halves. Alternatively, you could use a piping bag to pipe the avocado egg mixture into the egg white halves.

Garnish with extra red onion and cilantro, then serve and enjoy!

Oops!  I missed the tip about the avocado oxidizing.  I made them ahead of time and by the time I served them, the color had changed and they were much less delicious looking, lol.  However, they were still tasty and everyone ate them anyway.  Next time I make them, they'll be the last dish I make instead of one of the first.  They came together very quickly though.  I could even prep every ingredient except the avocado and then mash it in and fill them in a jiffy.  I'll make it again.

These are soo delicious and easy to make! I have made mine with fresh minced garlic and onion powder and they are delish!

Very good recipe, easy to prepare, always a hit. We shift up a gear, with finely chopped pickled jalapeños and chopped crispy bacon added to the original ingredients. 
Bam! Over the top delicious!!  
Can’t keep enough of them, they disappear in short order.

I was hesitant to make thesecause I thought the color may turn people off. Not really an issue as of course I had to try one and then...just one more. They were so good I had to make another dish in addition to these as there were very few left by the time the guests arrived. So yummy!

DO NOT USE A WHOLE tsp OF GARLIC. If you only use 1/4 tsp it will taste much better. I used the whole tsp in my first batch, and they were so unbearable I had to throw away the whole batch and it made my fridge smell like garlic. Other than that one ingredient, they tasted good and looked neat and colorful.
