Baked Ham with Brown Sugar Ham Glaze - Our easy baked ham recipe is made with a flavorful brandy and brown sugar glaze. It&#039;s the perfect main dish for celebrating any occasion!

Baked Ham with Brown Sugar Ham Glaze

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil and lay the ham on it flat-side-down.

Score the ham with cuts one inch apart and 1/4-inch deep. Do this in two directions creating a grid pattern over the entire surface of the ham.

In a medium bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients for the glaze. Rub half the glaze over the surface of the ham and bake for 45 minutes.

Pull the ham out of the oven. Rub the rest of the glaze over ham and place it back in the oven for another 45-75 minutes, or until the exterior is dark and crusty and the ham is warmed through.

Baked ham with roasted apples adds an impressive meaty, sweet, slightly acidic, punchy note from spicy brown mustard and piney flavor from fresh rosemary to your holiday table.

Mustard and Rosemary Baked Ham Recipe

bone-in ham, around 8 lbs. (We went with a spiral-sliced ham.)

Preheat your oven to 325ºF. Place your soaked (see Tips section) and dried ham half cut side down in a baking dish or roasting pan so the fat cap side is facing up. Use a knife to score the fat cap in a checkered pattern.

Pour the water into the pan and cover the pan tightly with foil. Place the ham in the oven for approximately 40-45 minutes.

While the ham is roasting, combine the apple cider vinegar, mustard, rosemary, honey, garlic, black pepper, and cloves.

Remove the ham from the oven. Rub about 2/3 of the mustard sauce all over the ham. You can also insert pieces of garlic clove in some of the cuts.

Insert a meat thermometer probe into the center of the ham and set the desired temperature for 140ºF. Arrange the sliced apples all around the ham and toss the slices in any accumulated juices on the bottom of the pan.

Cover the ham again for about 45 minutes. Remove the foil and baste the ham in the pan juices and give the apple slices a toss.

Coat the ham in the remaining sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees and roast until the internal temperature is reached and the outside is browned and bubbly. You can baste the ham a few times during the last roast if you’d like.

Remove the ham from the oven and plate the ham slices with some of the apples and pan sauce. Serve with your favorite holiday sides, like roasted carrots and Brussels sprouts.

Prep. Preheat oven to 325º F. Place ham in a roasting pan.

Bake. Cover your ham well with foil and bake for 10 to 18 minutes per pound until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140º F when checked with an instant-read thermometer. You will occasionally remove the foil to baste the ham with the drippings from the bottom of the roasting pan. (See the glaze variations below for custom instructions)

Rest. Allow the baked ham to rest for 5 to 10 minutes after removing it from the oven. Remove the ham from the roasting pan and onto a platter for serving.

Prep. Arrange the oven rack in the middle of the oven and preheat your oven to 325º F. Place your spiral-sliced ham into a roasting pan. Combine the melted butter and honey and brush onto the ham.

Bake. Cover your ham well with foil and bake for 10 to 18 minutes per pound until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140º F when checked with an instant-read thermometer. You will occasionally remove the foil to baste the ham with the drippings from the bottom of the roasting pan.

Make the Glaze. Mix together the sugar and all of the seasonings to make the glaze. With about 10 minutes left of baking time, add half of the seasoning to a small saucepan with 3 tablespoons of water. Boil for a minute and then remove from the heat.

Coat and Broil. During the last 5 minutes of baking, remove the ham from the oven and remove the foil. Pat the remaining sugar mixture onto the top of the ham. Turn the oven to broil. Broil for several minutes until the sugar mixture is bubbly. Remove from the oven.

Glaze and Broil. Pour the glaze over the ham and broil for another minute. Watch carefully so that it does not burn.

Honey Baked Ham Recipe

Bake. Combine Coca-Cola and brown sugar and pour over ham. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Every 30 minutes, uncover the ham and baste well with the pan juices and then recover the ham. Bake 10 to 18 minutes per pound, until the tam registers 140º F when checked with an instant-read thermometer. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes of cooking time so that after the final glaze, the glaze is able to caramelize on the ham
