This Baked Tortellini is an easy and delicious dinner idea for your family.&nbsp;

Baked Tortellini

cheese tortellini (prepared (we used Barilla Collezione Tortellini))

pesto sauce (about 3/4 cup (we used Barilla Traditional Pesto Sauce))

chicken breast (chopped, about 2 heaping cups)

ricotta cheese

red pepper (jarred/drained)

mozzarella cheese

In a large bowl combine tortellini, pesto, chicken, ricotta cheese, and roasted pepper.  Mix well, being careful not to break the tortellini open.

Pour into a casserole dish and press down evenly.

Top with mozzarella cheese and bake at 425 degrees for about 7 - 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish with fresh basil and ENJOY!

This baked tortellini recipe is cheese tortellini in a hearty meat sauce, all topped with cheese and baked to perfection. A super easy dinner that the whole family will love!

Baked Tortellini with Meat Sauce

15-ounce container Three Bridges Heirloom Marinara Sauce

cooking spray

olive oil

white onion

beef (I use 90% lean)

salt and pepper

parsley

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a 6 cup or larger baking dish with cooking spray. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to package directions.

While you wait for the water to boil and tortellini to cook, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add the onion and cook for 3-4 minutes or until softened.

Add the ground beef to the pan and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spatula, until done, approximately 4-5 minutes.

Pour the marinara sauce into the pan with the beef and heat until warmed through.

Drain the pasta and return to the pot. Pour the sauce over the pasta and toss to coat.

Spoon the pasta into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the cheese over the top. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and starting to brown.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, sautee onions in olive oil until soft. Add garlic and cook for addtional minute.

Add ground beef and brown.

Once beef is cooked through, stir in crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Season with salt, pepper and italian seasoning.

Stir in uncooked, fresh tortellini and 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese.

Transfer to casserole dish and sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.

Cover tightly with foil and baked at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Pork Tortellini Skillet Bake with Cream Sauce, Bacon, and Peas

Smithfield Applewood Smoked Bacon Marinated Fresh Pork Loin Filet

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Chop your Smithfield Applewood Smoked Bacon Marinated Fresh Pork Loin Filet into small cubes.

In a large oven-safe skillet, over medium-high heat, sear the pork loin filet on all sides until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.

Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 40 seconds to a minute.

Add flour into the pan and stir it into the melted butter so you have a thick paste.

While still over medium-high heat, gradually whisk milk/cream into the pan until completely combined and mixture is smooth.

Add salt, pepper, paprika, stirring until combined and smooth. 

Stir in pork, peas, and cooked bacon.

Add the tortellini and 2/3 cup parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir to make sure it is coated with the sauce and well combined. 

Add the remaining cup of cream/milk to get a better consistency. Eye ball this, if it is runny, you don’t need to add it, but if it is thick, add some so there is liquid that the tortellini can soak up to soften.

Top with remaining 1/3 cup parmesan cheese.

Bake for 10 minutes until sauce is bubbly and pasta is hot throughout.

Garnish with fresh herbs (basil or thyme) and more bacon if desired. Serve hot.

Add the minced garlic, mushrooms and zucchini and cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, until softened

Mix together the tortellini, sauce, garlic, mushrooms, zucchini, italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, and a few pinches of salt

Grease a small baking dish and add the tortellini mixture

Top with the shredded mozzarella and cover with aluminum foil

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and is bubbly

Optional: remove the foil and broil for 1-2 minutes to brown the cheese on top. Watch CLOSELY to avoid burning
