This Low Carb Smoothie Bowl with Cauliflower and Greens Recipe is banana-free and uses frozen cauliflower to offer a creamy consistency. The greens from zucchini and spinach are complemented by the frozen berries. This is a low-carb and low glycemic index breakfast, meaning the low sugar content will not spike your blood sugar levels. Top with 2 tablespoons of additional hemp hearts for a total of 20 grams of protein!

Low Carb Smoothie Bowl with Cauliflower and Greens [GF, Vegan]

cauliflower

zucchini

spinach (loosely packed)

blueberries (preferably wild)

milk alternative ((try homemade hemp-milk))

almond butter ((or peanut butter))

tbsp hemp hearts

cinnamon (ground)

hemp hearts

berries (fresh

granola ((grain-free for low-carb))

This smoothie bowl works best with frozen cauliflower and zucchini*. Option to steam the cauliflower first, but if using a high-speed blender such as a Vitamix this step is not necessary. Frozen spinach is easy to have on hand, but fresh works fine as well.

Add all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender, starting with the frozen ingredients closest to the blade. Blend until a creamy consistency is achieved and all the ingredients are well incorporated.

Divide the banana-free smoothie bowl mix into two bowls. Top with homemade granola, fresh fruit, and additional hemp hearts.

How to Make Smoothies Without Bananas (8 Recipes!)

This refreshing green smoothie recipe features frozen mango and pineapple and fresh orange and lime. You can't taste the spinach, but it's good for you! Recipe yields 2 smoothies.

Mango-Rita Green Smoothie

spinach

unsweetened coconut water

orange, peeled

mango mango chunks)

pineapple (I used frozen)

lime,

salt (trust me)

Blend the spinach, coconut water and orange until smooth.

Add the mango, pineapple, lime juice and salt and blend again. Taste, and add more lime juice if desired (I like mine to have some kick).

Pour the smoothie into two glasses and garnish each with a slice of lime.

Aaaah, I love making green goddess smoothies. :-) The color just makes me feel like I am winning at life and that I instantly feel healthy. Mango in green smoothies are just a must! Love it! Beautiful pictures. I am new to your channel!

I made half a recipe this morning.  It's delicious and halved, still makes 3 servings.  I used frozen mango (there was a sale a few weeks ago), crushed pineapple and an orange I stole from the supply for my  orioles.  I had enuf pineapple and orange for two more half recipes so I froze them together so it'll be easy to do again.

I made a half recipe of this morning and it was so refreshing and delicious! I also used frozen mango and pineapple but had to add a little bit more coconut water to make it blend in my Vitamix. Thanks, Kate!

Refreshing and delicious. I used all fresh fruit and frozen spinach and it was still thick enough and nice and cold.
