This is a Lebanese style Beef Kafta recipe that&#039;s made with ground beef, parsley, onions and a blend of Middle Eastern spices- perfect on the grill or stove

Beef Kafta

Place the parsley in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped, remove and set aside.

In the same food processor bowl used to chop the parsley, place the quartered onion and pulse until finely chopped. Drain the onions slightly to release excess moisture.

Return the parsley back to the bowl of the food processor with the onions. Add the ground beef to the food processor in addition to all the spices. Run the food processor on pulse once or twice until ingredients are well combined and form a pasty meat mixture.

Transfer the mixture from the food processor to a large bowl and form the Kafta into an oblong shape about 1 inch in thickness. You can form them on a wooden skewer or without.&nbsp;

Grease the grates of a gas grill or indoor grill pan, and preheat it to medium high heat. When heated through, transfer the kafta to the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your preferred level of doneness.

Serve hot off the grill with your choice of side.

Eye Round Roast

Worcestershire sauce

Whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.

Add the roast to a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over the roast. Toss to make sure all sides are well covered. Refrigerate for 24 hours.

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Prepare a roasting pan with a wire rack.

Place the roast on the wire rack, discarding the rest of the marinade. Roast for 15 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce the temperature of the oven to 350 degrees and continue roasting until the meat registers 125 degrees, about 1 hour.

Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Cut in very thin slices to serve.

Beef Kofta kebabs are a delicious and versatile dish that has been enjoyed for centuries across the Middle East and beyond. These succulent meat skewers are made with ground beef, infused with fragrant spices, and grilled to perfection.

Beef Kofta Kebabs

beef (you need some fat

onion (finely minced)

tsp garlic (finely minced)

tsp sweet paprika (or smoked paprika)

tsp cumin

turmeric

tsp sea salt

¼ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (more

parsley (chopped)

cilantro (chopped)

mint leaves (chopped)

Greek yogurt

cucumber (squeeze dry)

tsp fresh mint (finely chopped)

¼ tsp salt (to taste)

Add the spices to a small bowl and whisk to blend together.

Place the ground beef, spice blend, chopped garlic, and chopped onions in a large bowl.

Mix the ingredients together to combine. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to give the seasonings time to bloom.

Form the seasoned beef into a log shape (long cylinder shapes).

Skewer the kafta meat with the wooden skewers (or metal skewers), squeezing the mixture to mold it to the skewer.

Place the kabobs on a hot grill pan over medium-high heat and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Turn the beef kofta kabobs halfway through the cooking process and continue to cook for an additional 5-6 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.You can also cook these on a gas or charcoal grill to cook the kabobs.  Kabobs can also be cooked in a 350-degree oven for 15-18 minutes.

Beef Kebabs

Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and whisk together to combine.  Refrigerate the sauce until ready to serve.

Serve the Beef Kebabs with coconut rice and tzatziki sauce.  Garnish with chopped parsley.
