c. low-sodium soy sauce

tbsp. rice wine vinegar

packed brown sugar

cornstarch

lb. flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

red bell pepper, thinly sliced

This was so easy and fast. My family loved it. I added 2 small onions to mine.

I used red wine vinegar and it turned out pretty good! Anyone else used red wine vinegar?

You can also make this dish with chicken breast and it taste just as good

Little dry added onions next time I’ll make more sauce

This recipe turned out great!! The steak was tender and flavorful. I made one change. There wasn’t enough sauce to cover rice.  So, I made a quarter cup of a cornstarch slurry to make more sauce.  It turned out delicious.

This is a great recipe!  Will definitely make again.  Maybe I sliced my steak thinner than you, but searing 8 minutes on high was way too long, but then I like my steak less cooked than some.  I didn’t have any rice vinegar, but substituted apple cider vinegar and it tasted just fine.  The sauce was a bit thick and cooked really quickly, so I added some beef broth to thin it out a bit.  I also will add less sugar next time.  Despite those minor things, I would recommend this.  Yum!

Smelt delish, but was a bit over bearing. I don't know if we did something wrong. Just felt like it needed setting a little sweeter to balance this dish out.
