This Keto Big Mac Casserole is an easy low carb hamburger casserole recipe made with ground beef, cheese, and delicious Big Mac sauce!

Keto Big Mac Casserole

beef

Onion (diced)

Worcestershire

Garlic powder

Salt (divided)

Pepper (divided)

Cream cheese

Dill pickle relish

Eggs

Heavy cream

Cheddar cheese (shredded)

Mayonnaise

Yellow mustard

White wine vinegar

Paprika

Onion powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat. After cooking for for approximately 7 minutes add the diced onions, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of pepper. Continue to cook the ground beef for 3 minutes, or until ground beef is cooked through.

Transfer the ground beef to a strainer and let the excess fat drain out before placing the beef back in the pan.

Add the cream cheese to the ground beef and heat over medium low heat until the cream cheese has melted and coats the beef.

Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the dill relish.

Scoop the beef mixture into an 11x7 inch casserole dish and set aside.

In a small bowl whisk together eggs, heavy cream, remaining 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of pepper.

Pour the egg mixture over the ground beef gently shaking the casserole dish so the egg mixture is evenly distributed.

Top with the grated cheese.

Place the dish in the oven to bake for 30 minutes or until the casserole is set.

While the casserole bakes make your Big Mac sauce by whisking all of the ingredients together in a small bowl.

When the casserole comes out of the oven drizzle it with the Big Mac sauce before serving.

Low Carb Big Mac Casserole

tablespoons minced onion flakes

Worcestershire sauce

garlic,

sea salt and black pepper,

shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

mozzarella cheese

Burger Sauce, divided (get the recipe here)

dill pickle slices,

tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

romaine lettuce, chopped

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, minced onion flakes, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, sea salt and black pepper. Drain excess grease and transfer to a large casserole dish.

To the ground beef, add 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and 3/4 cup burger sauce. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. Flatten down into a nice and even, compact layer. Top with pickle slices.

Sprinkle the remaining cup of sharp cheddar cheese over top. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top of the cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes. Turn the oven up to a high broil and bake for another 5 minutes.

Plate each serving on top of a bed of shredded lettuce and top with remaining Russian dressing.

I used lean beef and half as much cheese to cut back the calories. This dish is amazing, the Russian dressing is spot on Big Mac flavor. My husband and kids ages 10, 4, and 2 enjoyed this. The 2 yr old was less thrilled than the rest of us though!

This was super delicious but one serving was almost all my fats and half my calories for the day. I added some chopped tomatoes to the top. Highly recommend. LOVE your book!

Made this last night! It seriously tasted just like a Reuben sandwich! It's the caraway seeds - they give you that rye bread taste! It was awesome. I just heated up the mixed up corned beef, swiss and sauerkraut for a couple of minutes in the microwave to get the cheese all melty. This was no exception. I did not have fresh herbs or spicy brown mustard for the Russian dressing, so I used dried herbs and Dijon mustard. I look forward to making this again with all the correct ingredients, but in the meantime, I will enjoy this for lunch for the next 6 days!

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, crumbling as it cooks. Drain fat.

Add the garlic to the skillet with the beef and cook 1 minute more.

Add the cream cheese, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt to the skillet and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until combined.
