I made this for Easter Dinner today, and it was a huge hit.  Great recipe!

This is my go to recipe but I put the wine in at the beginning with everything else.  I'm not sure if that makes a difference but that's how my family in England does lamb.  Do you think it makes a difference?  Is there a particular reason why?

I made this for my family  —the first time my kids  had lamb— and everyone enjoyed this dish.  It was an easy recipe to follow.  I substituted with chicken broth (that’s  what I had on hand) and used a Cabernet for the wine.  It was a rich sauce.  We enjoyed this over a white cheddar cauliflower risotto  (also what I had on hand) and the pairing was surprisingly good.  Thank you for sharing this recipe! A keeper 😁

I don't know what's with this new name on my account that I can't seem to change, but this was delicious. I used only two lamb shanks but otherwise followed the recipe and will definitely make this again.

I always Make lamb using this recipe, but without wine at the end, and we love it!
