For those who like a lighter texture of whole wheat bread, this wonderful, aromatic basil Italian whole wheat bread is perfect: taste, flavour, appearance, texture, all very good.

Italian Whole Wheat Bread Fast2eat

Water (lukewarm - 80-90°F/26-32°C)

tbsp Olive oil

Whole wheat flour

Bread flour

tbsp sugar

Salt

tbsp Basil

tsp Active dry yeast

Attach the kneading blade in the Bread Maker pan.

Place ingredients into the bread pan following the recipe order (or following the order and method specified in your Bread Maker manual – mine is: FIRST, liquid ingredients; SECOND, dry ingredients; LAST, yeast). Note: With a finger or a knife, make a small indentation in the middle of the flour. Add yeast to indentation, making sure it does not come into contact with the liquid ingredients.

Carefully insert bread pan into Bread Maker and gently close the lid.

Select the “Whole Wheat” bread setting. If available, choose crust colour (I usually set Medium, but if you prefer, set Light or Dark) and loaf size (1.5LB) and press the Start button.

It will mix and bake the bread. When the baking cycle is complete, press the stop button and unplug the breadmaker.

Open the lid and while using Oven Mitt, firmly grasp the bread pan handle and gently pull the pan straight up and out of the machine. CAUTION: The Bread Maker and pan may be very hot! Always handle with care.

Use non-stick Spatula to gently loosen the sides of the bread from the pan.

Turn the bread pan upside down onto a Wire Cooling Rack or clean cooking surface and gently shake until bread falls out onto the rack.

Cool for about 10-15 minutes before slicing.

To make perfect slices every time, use a Bread Slicer with an Electric Knife.

Italian whole wheat bread Fast2eat

Perfect gluten free bread made in a bread maker. This loaf uses a carefully-developed blend of wholegrain and starch flours. Soft and light for sandwiches. Perfect for toast. Stays fresh and soft for several days. Makes 1 large loaf. Optional Dairy Free.

Gluten Free Bread-Maker Wholemeal Bread (with Oats)

200 g Gluten Free Alchemist Rice Free Flour Blend B

g tapioca starch flour

oat flour

g milled flax seed

35 g ground psyllium husk (grind finely

g fine sea salt

g milk powder/coconut milk powder

g INSTANT Easy Bake fast action yeast

eggs

g sunflower

g honey

g lemon juice (= 1 tsp)

325 g hand-warm water (or milk (dairy

Accurately weigh and mix together all the dry ingredients (except the yeast) and set aside. TIP : weigh into an airtight container and shake vigorously.

Put the pot/sachet of yeast next to the mixed dry ingredients so that it is not forgotten.

Dry Ingredients

Weigh all the wet ingredients into a large bowl and whisk through to combine with a hand whisk.

Wet Ingredients

Prepare the bread-maker, making sure the paddle is in place.

Transfer the wet ingredients to the bread-maker. (scrape the sides of the mixing bowl with a spatula to make sure all ingredients are fully transferred).

Add the yeast to the dry ingredients and give a quick mix through.

Add the dry ingredients to the bread-maker bowl on top of the wet ingredients.

Set the bread-maker to GF setting (I use &#039;medium crust&#039;) and press &#039;start&#039;. (See NOTES re optional removing of paddle part-way through cycle).

Enjoy a cup of tea and read a magazine while your bread bakes, enjoying the smell of freshly yeast-baked loaf.

Once baked, remove from the bread-maker and carefully slide/jiggle out sideways to avoid squashing the top. Cool on a wire rack.

Carefully remove the paddle (if stuck inside) once cool.

Almond Flour Bread Recipe

Prepare all ingredients

Prepare all of your ingredients. Eggs and cream cheese are best at room temperature. Sweetener is optional. At the same time, heat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius or 340 degrees Fahrenheit.

Whisk eggs

Mix whole eggs with a pinch of salt in a kitchen machine until foamy. This helps to get that perfect fluffy almond flour bread once baked.

Mix dry and wet ingredients

While your eggs are whisking, mix together the almond flour with all the dry ingredients in a bowl. At the same time, mix cream cheese with oil and water in another bowl. 

Prepare bread dough

Once your eggs are whisked with fluffy consistency, reduce the speed of your machine by half. Start adding the dry mixture spoon by spoon, which the dough is mixing. Add about half to 3/4 of the bowl. Next, add your wet mixture step by step to properly combine the dough. Finish up with the rest of the dry mixture. 

Bake

Pour into a baking loaf and bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven or until the bread is golden brown.
