Homemade copycat version o f the bread sticks you get from Olive Garden.

Copycat Olive Garden Breadsticks

Water

Sugar

tbsp Yeast

tbsp Vegetable Oil

Salt

Flour

tbsp melted Butter

tsp Garlic Powder

Combine oil, water, sugar, salt and yeast in bowl of mixer.

Leave sitting for 10 minutes to allow yeast to bloom.

Gradually add flour while mixing on low until the dough forms a ball.

Spray a bowl with non stick spray and transfer dough to bowl.

Cover with plastic wrap or a towel and place in a warm place to allow dough to double (about 1 hour).

Grease baking sheets.

Turn out dough on a floured surface.

Roll out dough into a large rectangle.

Cut in half, and then cut into 1" thick strips.

Roll and shape each strip into roughly 1' x 8" sticks.

Place on prepared sheets about 2" apart.

Cover and place in a warm spot for 45 minutes or until doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 350.

Stir garlic powder into melted butter.

Brush breadsticks with butter and sprinkle with kosher salt.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Brush finished breadsticks with remaining butter before serving.

These super simple Cheesy Taco Sticks are buttery breadsticks filled with taco meat and lots of cheese! The kids will love them!

Cheesy Taco Sticks

beef

taco seasoning mix (or homemade taco seasoning)

tube Pillsbury Pizza Dough

colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks (halved)

butter

garlic powder

parsley

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Lightly coat a large baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.

Cook the ground beef in a skillet, breaking up with a wooden spoon until fully browned and crumbled. Drain any fat and return skillet to stove top. Mix in the taco seasoning packet (but no water), and stir until fully coated. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.*

Spread the pizza dough out until it's flat and cut in half lengthwise and then 4 cuts up and down, creating a total of 10 small rectangles. Place about a tablespoon or more of the taco meat in the center of each pizza dough, top with a halved cheese stick and then carefully roll up the pizza stick, making sure to pinch all seams closed.

Combine the melted butter, garlic powder and parsley in a small bowl and brush it on the tops of the cheesy taco sticks. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve hot with your favorite taco toppings!

Preheat oven to 450ºF.

Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up. Makes a very soft dough.

Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out into a 9-inch square.

Using a 3-inch biscuit cutter, cut dough into 9 biscuits.

Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9-inch square pan.

Place cut biscuits in pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Brush baked biscuits with melted butter, if desired.

Quinoa Crust is a gluten free crust that can be used for pizza or cheesy garlic bread.

Quinoa Crust for Pizza or Cheesy Garlic 'Bread' Recipe

quinoa

olive oil (divided)

water

eggs

½ tsp. garlic salt

oregano leaves

basil leaves

½ tsp baking powder

Italian-blend cheese (pizza-blend

For cheesy garlic bread: 1/2 cup shredded Italian-blend cheese

Place the uncooked quinoa into a fine mesh strainer and run under cool water for about a minute until water runs clear. Shake off as much excess liquid as possible. Add the rinsed quinoa and 2 tsp. olive oil to a medium sauce pot. Turn the heat to medium high and stir occasionally for 6-7 minutes. The excess moisture will evaporate and the quinoa will begin to toast.

Carefully add the water to the toasted quinoa and cover. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Let the quinoa cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the lid and turn the heat to low. Cook 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally (evaporating excess moisture). Transfer the cooked quinoa to a large bowl and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.

In a small bowl, add the eggs, 1 tsp. olive oil, garlic salt, oregano, basil, and baking powder. Whisk until well combined.

Add the cheese to the quinoa. Stir to combine. Add the egg mixture to the quinoa. Stir until well combined.

Spread the quinoa dough into a ¼ inch, even layer on the parchment paper. I made cheesy bread sticks so I made a 10 x 7 inch rectangle. Bake for 18-20 minutes, edges should begin to brown.

Top with the pizza, or garlic bread, toppings and return to the oven for 5 minutes.

Let the pizza, or garlic bread, cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
