tsp garlic powder

tsp baking powder

Sauté onion and pepper in 1 teaspoon oil until tender. Set aside.

In a large bowl combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, oregano, baking powder, cumin, egg and milk. Do not overmix. Fold in corn, salsa, onion, and pepper.

Heat remaining oil in skillet over medium-low heat. Drop batter in 1/4 cup at a time and cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Corn cakes should be golden brown on the edges. Serve with sour cream, cheese, and/or or salsa.

Lemon Raspberry Sugar Shaker

Sparkling Wine, chilled

Lemonade, chilled

Prepare the strawberries by washing them and cutting off the tops. Using an immersion blender or food processor, process strawberries, Strawberry White Barrel Aged Balsamic, and Lemon Raspberry Sugar Shaker until a smooth puree forms.

Add 2 Tbsp of the strawberry puree to a chilled champagne glass. Pour equal parts sparkling wine and lemonade into the glass.

Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy!
