Super cheesy vegan cashew cheese sauce. This smooth and creamy sauce is wonderfully satisfying and simply delicious drizzled over almost anything!

Classic Vegan Cashew Cheese Sauce

(150 grams) Cashew Nuts (Raw)

Tbsp Nutritional Yeast

Clove Garlic (crushed)

Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)

Salt

Black Pepper

Tbsp Water

Add the cashew nuts, nutritional yeast, crushed garlic and lemon juice to the blender jug. Add sea salt and black pepper. Measure out the water and add it in. Blend until very smooth and creamy.

For a thicker cheese, use less water. For a thinner salad dressing consistency, use a little more water.

Serve drizzled over baked potatoes, vegetables, pizzas or pastas.

Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.

Add the cashews to a blender or food...

Add the cashews to a blender or food processor. Add the nutritional yeast (1/8 cup to start, or 1/4 cup if you love nutritional yeast flavor), garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and half the water.

Place the lid on the blender or food processor and turn on to blend. Slowly add water through the hole at the top until the sauce has reached your desired consistency. You may need even more than the 1/2 cup of water to thin.
