Jiffy Cheeseburger Casserole is a great meal to fix for the entire family. The cheeseburger casserole recipe is budget-friendly and feeds quite a few people. I fed two teenage boys, my husband, and myself and we had leftovers. It's a great meal. 

Jiffy Cornbread Casserole with Ground Beef

beef

onion (diced)

can cream of chicken soup

mixed vegetables

milk + 2/3 cup milk

eggs

boxes Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix

cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper

Brown ground beef, drain the grease, and add...

Brown ground beef, drain the grease, and add to a large heat-safe mixing bowl.

Add the two boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin...

Add the two boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, eggs, and 2/3 cup of milk to another large bowl. Mix everything together and spread into the casserole dish.

Add the diced onion, vegetables, cream of chicken...

Add the diced onion, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, salt and pepper, and half of the shredded cheese to the bowl with the cooked ground beef. Mix everything together well.

Pour the 1/4 cup milk into the bowl...

Pour the 1/4 cup milk into the bowl and mix.

Spread over the Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix and...

Spread over the Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.

Bake for 30-minutes.

Cheeseburger Bake Recipe

onion

garlic salt

baking mix

milk

Brown the onions and hamburger together.&nbsp;

Add in a little garlic salt for taste.

Use 1/2 c. of the baking mix and mix in 2 eggs and a cup of milk. Set aside.

Put the browned hamburger/onions in a greased 9" pan.

Sprinkle the cheese on top the brown hamburger.

Pour the baking mix/milk/egg mixture on top of the shredded cheese.&nbsp;

Bake at 400F for 25 minutes or until the top is browned.

Merissa, darling are you getting a little stressed, darling? This recipe for cheeseburger casseriole is one I've done, literally, for years - toppings includ dill relish, chopped tomatoes, bacon bits, shredded cheddar, etc. Your pic shows pasta in the recipe but doesn't include pasta. Are we cross-referenceing "hamburger helper" recipes, by chance? I'm all for a mix-mash, no doubt, just trying to figure out which direction your super-creative brain went!!! lol

A fun and easy Cheeseburger Casserole with ground beef, onion, garlic and pasta in a cheesy sauce topped with more cheese and fresh homemade bun croutons. The end result is so tasty that you will want to make this over and over again.

Easy Cheeseburger Casserole Recipe

lb. lean ground beef

sweet yellow onion chopped

garlic

cayenne

red pepper

ketchup

tomato paste

Worcestershire Sauce

spicy brown mustard (see notes)

beef broth

cellentani pasta

shredded Colby or cheddar cheese

hamburger

olive oil

marjoram

parsley

garlic powder

onion powder

salt

black pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Start browning your ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.  After 2-3 minutes add the onion and continue cooking until the beef is browned and the onions are soft.  Add the garlic, cayenne, and crushed red pepper.  Cook for 1 minute stirring continuously.

Add the ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and beef broth.  Bring it to a low boil.  Add the pasta and cover the pot cooking the pasta until it is tender.  Remove from the heat and stir in half of the cheese.

Meanwhile in a small bowl whisk together the olive oil, marjoram, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.  Toss in the bun cubes and stir gently to coat.  Place the croutons on a parchment covered baking sheet.  Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.

Spoon the pasta into a large deep 9x13 baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, top with the remaining cheese, and sprinkle with the croutons.  Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the casserole is heated through.

This casserole is so rich and flavorful. Perfect for our family dinner!

This looks so tasty!  I can easily substitute beyond meat for the burger and make it vegetarian-friendly!
