Queso Burgers

lb. sirloin

lb. easy melt cheese (like

oz Rotel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies (undrained)

hamburger buns

leaf lettuce

tomato

Melt velveeta and rotel in a medium saucepan over low heat. You can also melt in the microwave 3-5 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes.

Preheat grill to medium and shape hamburger meat into 6 patties. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Grill 4 to 5 minutes each side or until no longer pink.

To assemble the burgers, place burger on bottom bun and top with 2 Tbs melted cheese. Top with lettuce, tomato and top bun and enjoy!

Whiskey Burger

beef hamburger patties (about a 1 inch thickness, not the thinner patties)

whiskey

garlic

bacon,

yellow American cheese

yellow onions, peeled,

olive oil

butter bacon grease

salt

Pour the whiskey into a shallow dish that will hold all the hamburger patties in one layer. Place the hamburgers in the whiskey and top with the chopped garlic. Marinate the burgers for 30 minutes on one side, then flip over for another 30 minutes on the other side.

To make the onions, add the olive oil and the butter to a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the onions and salt and cook turning the onions often for 30 minutes until they are brown and caramelized. When the onions are done, set them aside in a bowl covered with foil.

Grill the burgers over medium-high heat for 5 minutes per side for a medium/medium rare burger. Refer to the temperature chart in the post for correct temperatures.

The last minute of cooking, add two slices of cheese to each burger and close the lid to melt the cheese.

Top the hamburgers with some of the caramelized onions and a trip of bacon then serve.

I make these often since I stumbled upon this recipe. They are simply the best!!

It's summer. What are you likely grilling?

Preheat oven to 350°&nbsp;and grease a muffin tin with cooking spray.&nbsp;Flatten burger bun halves to 1/4&nbsp;inch thick with a rolling pin and place one half cut-side up in each prepared muffin cup.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook, stirring, until soft, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up meat with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain fat.

Return beef mixture to skillet and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Divide ground beef mixture among burger bun cups and top each with a cheddar cheese square. Bake until cheese is melty and buns are golden, about 10 minutes.

Drizzle cups with ketchup and mustard, top with a pickle, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

I turned them into taco cups! and they were amazing!
