Just 5 ingredients and 10 minutes of prep for these easy, cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls!

Chicken Crescent Rolls

chicken ((or use canned chicken))

cheddar cheese, divided

milk

(8 oz) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a bowl, stir together soup, milk and ½ cup of cheese. Pour into the bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine chicken and remaining ½ cup of cheese.

Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place about 1-2 heaping tablespoons of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each crescent roll. Roll the dough up and place each crescent roll (seam-side down) in the bottom of the dish.

Bake, uncovered, until the liquid is bubbly and the tops of the crescent rolls are browned (about 25 minutes). The bottom of the rolls (that are submerged in the sauce) will stay soft – like dumplings -- but will still be cooked through.

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a medium bowl, stir together shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing – season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Unroll both cans of dough and separate them into 16 triangles. Arrange the crescent roll dough triangles in a circle with the short sides in the center, forming about a 5-inch opening, on a pizza pan.

Spoon the chicken mixture on the half of each triangle closest to the center of the ring. Lift each dough triangle up and over the filling, tucking the tip underneath the bottom layer of dough to hold it in place. Continue around the ring until all the filling is wrapped up.

Bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown.

A photo of the layout of the raw crescent rolls would be helpful, but taste, presentation and ease of this is wonderful.  Ill put this in my regular rotation as a snack, or as a full dinner.
